Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Kontire, or use it under the supervision and with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You must also be old enough to hold the YouTube/Google account you connect.

Kontire helps you publish, schedule, and manage content on your own connected YouTube account. You are responsible for the content you post and for complying with YouTube’s own terms and policies. Kontire is a tool operating on your instructions — we do not create, endorse, or take ownership of your content.

Kontire uses YouTube API Services. By using Kontire you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of data accessed through those services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. How Kontire handles Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy, and you can revoke Kontire’s access at any time from your Google security settings.

• You must own or be authorized to manage the accounts you connect.
• You retain all rights to the content you create and publish through Kontire.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and connected accounts secure.

In line with Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you agree not to use Kontire to host, display, upload, publish, transmit, or share any content that:

• belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
• is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encourages money laundering or gambling;
• is harmful to children;
• infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right;
• deceives or misleads about the origin of a message, or is patently false or misleading and communicated as fact;
• impersonates another person;
• threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or incites any cognisable offence;
• contains a software virus or code designed to disrupt or limit any computer resource;
• violates any law in force.

You also agree not to use the service for spam or platform manipulation, not to probe or attack the service’s security, and not to access it by automated means outside the features we provide. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.

Kontire is currently in early access and free for everyone — no payment details are collected. If and when paid plans launch, prices, billing terms, and any refund/cancellation policy will be published clearly before you are charged, and these terms will be updated in accordance with applicable consumer-protection law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the E-Commerce Rules, 2020).

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kontire is not liable for content that fails to post, actions taken by connected platforms (including YouTube quota limits, strikes, or account actions), or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, or your non-waivable statutory rights.

You may stop using Kontire and delete your account at any time (Settings → Danger Zone). We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or where required by law. On deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt, as required by the IT Rules, 2021. Grievances relating to personal data are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction — except that nothing here limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have under the consumer or data-protection laws of your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where required, notified in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
