Why $6 for Pro?
TubeBuddy Pro is $4.99/mo but their free tier is quite limited, and their Legend tier ($39.99) is the one with real keyword data. VidIQ starts at $7.50/mo for basic features and goes to $99/mo for their top plan.
We land at $6/mo — slightly above TubeBuddy's entry point but below VidIQ, with a more generous free tier than either. At $6, the product pays for its own server costs with just a handful of subscribers, keeping it sustainable without VC pressure.
Studio at $14/mo targets anyone managing more than one channel — an underserved gap, since TubeBuddy charges per channel and VidIQ's multi-channel is enterprise-only. This is a real differentiator.
Note: Kontire is in early access, so none of this is billed yet — every feature is free for everyone who signs up. These tiers are the plan for when subscriptions launch; payment gating will be added alongside a processor (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Paddle).
FAQ
What does early access mean for pricing?
Every feature is unlocked free for everyone who signs up right now — there's no Pro/Studio gating yet and nothing to pay. The tiers above are what we plan to charge once subscriptions launch, and we'll give plenty of notice before that happens.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Sign-up never requires a credit card, and during early access there's nothing to pay at all.
What YouTube API quota do I use?
Most features (keyword research, tag extraction, trending) use zero YouTube quota via web scraping. Bulk edit, analytics, and channel branding do use quota — typically well within the free 10,000 units/day limit for individual creators.
Can I manage more than one YouTube channel?
Yes — the Studio tier supports multiple YouTube channels under one Kontire account, with quick switching between them.
Is there a free trial for Pro?
Right now the whole product is effectively a free trial — every Pro and Studio feature is unlocked for everyone during early access, so you can use the full toolkit before any paid plans exist.
What data do you store?
We store OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM), your post history, templates, ideas, and settings. We do not store your video files — they go straight from your browser to YouTube.
Every feature free during early access — no credit card
